Since the 1980s, environmental consultancy has been SOGESCA’s historical area of expertise and was born within the framework of the first environmental regulations and the first requests for research, development and innovation expressed by organizations and businesses.

SOGESCA’s environmental consulting receives an important boost with the birth and application of technical standards starting from the EMAS and Ecolabel Regulations of 1993.

The concept of sustainability on which today many non-environmental consultants are taking action is for us a natural evolution of our services which have always been based on it; we have based our services on the definition of Sustainable Development formulated by the “Bruntland” Commission in the report “Our Common Future” of 1987: “Sustainable development is the development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs“.

We offer an integrated management of the main environmental aspects based on our advanced engineering skills within a complete range of services on the environment, for businesses and for public institutions.

Our mission linked to environmental consulting can be summarized in the statement of the Spanish philosopher José Ortega y Gasset: “I am I plus my surroundings, and if I do not preserve the latter I do not preserve myself.”.

In providing the service, SOGESCA above all, sets itself the objective of contributing to the growth of its customers. For this reason, working in a team, transferring know-how and skills, is the approach proposed by SOGESCA. SOGESCA’s team of experts includes long-term and recently acquired auditors and environmental management consultants.

SOGESCA supports companies in the improvement process of environmental performance (sustainability paths) also enables them to monitor the results, document and communicate them in the framework of the technical legislation of the sector.
